I finally made it to Vegas. I'm officially living here. I'm not quite a resident yet *lol*...I haven't got the balls to say all that lol. But I'm here. And it's growing on me. Living in Vegas is a whole lot different from only visiting time to time, which is what I use to do. Now, instead of just frequenting my way "back and forth to the strip", I have to actually learn my way around this place *lol*. The good thing about living here is the large amount of gas money that I save. Vegas is a lot smaller than California, it is not as spaced out, so I do less driving here. And I spend half as much time in my car as I did as a Californian. One thing that HAS not changed though is the traffic. Reason for all this traffic here you ask? Mmm...I'll break it down to you.
Vegas is currently the number one growing city + 5000 people per year migrate here + its very small circumference that has not changed with the growing population = excessive crowdness.
In a nutshell.
As a matter of fact, 95.9056% of the time that you meet someone who lives here, they will usually not be FROM here.
I still dont know very many people here, with the exception of my siblings. But its going well thus far. Not knowing that many people might actually be a good thing. *lol* Well, uh, we'll see how everything goes.
I was reading this interesting article posted by my fave man (in the whole wide world!), Davey D, that I found rather interesting. So I thought I'd pass it along. Take a look.
Eeek, it's getting late. Gotta get home.
C-ya later kiddies...I'll be back...
I miss ya.
